MICHAEL P. MORAN (Detective Bobby Fain) has been seen in a wide range
of roles in such features as "Scarface," "9 1/2 Weeks," "Marie," "Punchline,"
"Physical Evidence," "Lean On Me," "Fletch Lives," "Ghostbusters II," "State of
Grace," "The Paper," "Radioland Murders," "Sleepers" and "Mother Night." His
numerous television appearances have included such daytime dramas and series as
"All My Children," "One Life to Live," "Guiding Light," "Law and Order," "The
Golden Years," "Matlock" and "As the World Turns," as well as the telefeatures
"Sentimental Journey" and "Roanoak" among others.
Most recently, Moran appeared opposite Andy Garcia in his film "The Scalper,"
and the independent film "Harvest," with Mary McCormack.
Moran was born in Yuba City, California and brought up all over the country as
the son of an Army officer, moved to New York City in 1966. He trained at New
York University's Tisch School of the Arts, and went on to extensive
avant-garde theatre credits. He was part of the late Andre Gregory's Manhattan
Project (which produced Moran's play "Jinx's Bridge") and appeared in several
productions for Joseph Papp's New York Shakespeare Festival. He also wrote and
produced the play "Call Me Charlie," which starred Danny DeVito, and as a
member of the Cooper-Keaton Group, produced and performed in Wallace Shawn's
"The Hotel Play."
